Fear

       It has been a hot moment since I have written a blog. I can totally say that I’ve been so busy with our son’s high school graduation, planning his grad party, and our youngest being promoted from elementary to middle school—oh, not to mention planning our wedding! So yes, I have been busy. But truthfully, that’s not the real reason for my lack of writing. The truth is… I haven’t written because I felt fearful. While sitting in church, our pastor had us turn to 2 Timothy 1-8, and as we read, verse 7 hit me hard: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but one of power, love, and sound judgment.” —2 Timothy 1:7 (CSB) Read that again… God has not given us the spirit of fear! So if He didn’t give it to us, where on earth did it come from? If you answered satan , you’d be correct.
